Tarlac makes his debut!
Ursa had a debut on Saturday evening in the form of Tarlac - a new recruit with Katie Scott and up top was prodigy billy loughnane. With terrific breeding, racing manager Craig spotted this horse with potential to improve and hopefully holds talent from his sire and dam (pinatubo x sharja queen)
Starting at 14/1 and with a wide draw. Owners were consulted that tarlac may need the run. The tactic was to drop in behind and hope that Tarlac see’s his races out.
Billy deployed the tactics perfectly, as the gates broke, Tarlac was dropped into nearly last position. Turning off the bend in last he had to all to do;
Even with hanging left on the straight, Tarlac was able to pass a couple horses, he shown us that he will try and was only beaten a reasonable 4 lengths;
Tarlac is perfectly fine this morning, eaten up well and gives his owners a lot of hope going into the future with him.
Will he be our 100th winner?
