Curious Rover Impresses at Musselburgh While Falcon Nine Shows Promise
Ursa Major Racing sent two runners to Musselburgh yesterday, with Falcon Nine contesting the 3:07 and Curious Rover following in the next race. It was a day of mixed fortunes, but both horses delivered performances that left connections optimistic for the season ahead.
Falcon Nine’s race was effectively over at the start, as he lost approximately nine lengths coming out of the stalls. Despite this significant setback, he showed great determination, keeping in touch with the field and finishing strongly. His performance suggested there is much more to come, and the team is confident that we have yet to see the best of him.
Curious Rover, returning from a 146-day layoff, produced a superb effort to finish second. Trainer Katie Scott has worked tirelessly to bring him back to peak condition, and her efforts were evident as he ran with real purpose. His performance was an encouraging sign for the future, and the team is looking forward to seeing him progress.
With a short break from racing over the next few days, members can look forward to updates on our latest acquisition, Prince Quattro, including exclusive behind-the-scenes content. Stay tuned for more insights into his journey with Ursa Major Racing!
