Winners can be like waiting for a bus - and Thaki gave us our fourth victory in 12 days - bringing up a hattrick of wins himself in our colours.

Sent off 12/1, there was never a moment where he didn’t look the winner, Sam James bossing it from the front on the Katie Scott trained gelding.

It continues our remarkable June which has brought about wins for Huit Reflets, Jumeira Vision and The Turpinator.

He has proven to be an absolute warrior for us and Katie has trained him brilliantly with those three victories in addition to six places in little over a year.

Racing Manager Craig Talbot said: “I did really fancy Thaki today, he was thrown in on last year’s form, but the rain did start to worry me.

“However, Katie had him in great form and huge credit to her - she’s given us two winners in the last six days!”
