Jimmy makes it back to back wins as we hit double figures for the year

Jumeira Vision recorded back to back victories by battling to a gutsy success at Musselburgh.

His win - at much shorter odds of 7/2 than last times 50/1 - came once again for Sam James, who spoke of his will to win in the aftermath of the race.

Trained by Katie Scott - who was providing us with a third win sent out from Lindean in just 11 days - Jimmy looked beaten a couple of furlongs from home, but his will to win kicked in and he found himself in front again before the line.

Katie takes a rare break from the action to celebrate Jimmy’s win

Racing Manager Craig Talbot said: “I couldn’t be happier with Jimmy and Katie has done a sensational job with him.

“We love being part of the yard and the winners are flowing - what’s not to like!

“Sam James gave him a wonderful ride, he was very tough, bu Sam did think he had a bit left in the tank at the finish.

“We had five winners last month and it’s good to get July off to a winning start.”

Bits and Bobs also ran a mighty race for Mark Walford and Brandon Wilki in second at Thirsk.

All eyes now turn to the weekend, when the Katie-trained Curious Rover heads to Haydock Park.
