Huit Reflets gets us back amongst the winners

A quiet couple of months on the winners front came to an end in style, with Huit Reflets capping another big day for Ursa Major.

Hugo - as he is known - has been a revelation since joining Mark Walford, recording form figures of 3322 before today.

And now he can add a 1 to that with a fine victory under Tom Midgely at Hexham on Saturday afternoon.

A model of consistency since switching Ireland for Sheriff Hutton, he was given a great ride to score by a head.

He is entered at Market Rasen on Friday and if all is well he could bid to make it two wins inside a week.

Curious Rover also enhanced his standing as an Ursa legend with a fine third at Chester - the first time he has competed in open company for Cieren Fallon and Katie Scott.
