Owners enjoy visit to Rebecca Menzies' Howe Hills stable

It was a brilliant way to spend a Tuesday morning - meeting friends at Rebecca Menzies’ yard.

A dozen or so Ursa Major owners joined Racing Manager Craig Talbot to see the four horses we have in training with Rebecca, who is fast becoming one of the best dual purpose handlers in the country.

They were lucky enough to meet the horse with the best face in the race Melburnian; our latest purchase - all weather bonus hunter Texas Boy; unraced two-year-old Aclaim To Fame; and our absolutely stunning Kessaar yearling colt.

They were given the chance to meet the horses and pose for pictures as well as see work taking place on the gallops.

Craig said: “It was a fantastic day and thanks to Rebecca and all her team for welcoming us.

“We have a growing presence here at Howe Hills and we love working with Rebecca, she is top class and the owners loved seeing their horses at home.

“At Ursa we work with trainers who are happy to let our owners be hands on - on and off the track - and visits like this mean so much.

“We have an extremely exciting team at Rebecca’s and cant wait to see what the coming months bring.”

We still have shares available in the Kessaar colt - with no training fees due until January 31 - give us a message!
