Brilliant second from Ghadbbaan at Newmarket

It was another superb performance from Ghadbbaan with a second place finish at Newmarket.

He was encouraged along nicely by Tom Marquand who was in the Battenbergs for the first time, finishing just a length and a quarter behind 16/1 poke Dereham.

It takes Ghadbbaan’s prize money to more than £9,000 - almost double hsi purchase price.

He is a credit to connections, taking them to some of the major tracks across the country and never putting in a below par run.
