Huge day as Ghadbbaan runs at HQ

It’s a momentous day for Ursa Major Racing on Thursday, with a runner at Newmarket’s July Course.

Star stayer Ghadbbaan runs in the 2m handicap at 4.55pm for Mark Walford and Tom Marquand.

A winner at Doncaster earlier this season, we expect the track to play to Ghadbbaan’s strengths.

Craig Talbot, Racing Manager, said: “The big long straight at Newmarket will be perfect for Ghadbbaan and this is the kind of track we will be focussing him on from now on.

“He loves a big long straight where he can kick on and grind them down and he only has six opponents - so he has a chance of placing in the first three.

“He has taken us to Doncaster and York this year and this is another huge day for Ursa, what a great servant he is.”
