Welcome Reticent - and Ewan Whillans!

We are absolutely thrilled to announce a new signing to the Ursa Major squad.

Reticent has been purchased from Andrew Balding this evening and will go into training with a brand new handler - Ewan Whillans in Scotland.

The three-year-old filly has won one of her five starts - over 1m2f at Lingfield in January - and will make a fine staying prospect for the year - with hurdles a possibility too.

She is by Sixties Icon out of Inhibition and will thrive when upped in trip.

Racing manager, Craig Talbot, said: “I am really excited to have purchased a new horse this evening through Thoroughbid and she will make a fine staying prospect.

“She goes into training with our brand new addition to Team Ursa -Ewan Whillans, a man I already know and have full confidence in - it should be a great partnership.”

You can get involved with Reticent for £225 up front for a 2.5 per cent share and £45 per month training fees.
