Welcome to our new addition: Melburnian
With football’s January transfer window closure looming we are delighted to be able to reveal our own new star signing.
Stunning seven-year-old chestnut mare Melburnian has joined the Ursa ranks from Tony Martin in Ireland.
The three-time flat winner has joined Rebecca Menzies, where she will be aimed at a dual purpose summer campaign.
She is a very handy purchase who will also retain her value as a broodmare, winning a Class 2 Leopardstown flat handicap while she is also related to plenty of other smart types.
She is rated 93 over hurdles and 71 on the flat and share options are now available.
Racing manager Craig Talbot said he was delighted to have completed the deal at Doncaster today.
He said: “She is an absolute stunner. She will be a dual purpose summer horse for us. She’s already back at Rebecca’s yard.
“She is going to give her plenty of TLC and build her back up so she’s ready to go and we couldn’t be more excited to have her on board.”
Craig added that all share options are now available here.
