Rebecca Menzies welcomes owners as Mr Shady and Melburnian are shown Ursa love

It was another incredible day in the life of Ursa Major Racing as members descended on the stable of our newest trainer, Rebecca Menzies.

More than a dozen owners gathered at Rebecca’s Howe Hills stable to check on Mr Shady and our newest recruit - Melburnian.

They were treated to a full tour of Rebecca’s amazing facilities and more important than anything - got to spend time in the company of both horses, the trainer and our racing manager Craig Talbot.

Craig said: “It was a fantastic visit to Rebecca’s and we were treated to a fabulous morning with her and the team.

“We really like both Mr Shady, who has run twice for us already, and our newest recruit Melburnian who is settling in to her surroundings really well.

“Rebecca has made a flying start to her training career and is going places fast over both codes. We are delighted to be part of her team.

“I hope all owners who made it along had a great morning. It was so special to see our horses loving life so much at home.”

The visit was marked with these stunning pictures by Ursa owner and racecourse photographer Claire Dowling of Hands and Heels Photography - check out her website, she has a real eye for equine photography.
