Rebecca Menzies

Rebecca Menzies

Rebecca Menzies is a prominent dual-purpose racehorse trainer based at Howe Hills Stables in Mordon, near Sedgefield, County Durham. She began her career in the racing industry without a family background in the sport, working her way up from stable lass to assistant trainer under the late Ferdy Murphy. In 2013, at the age of 24, Rebecca obtained her training license, becoming the youngest trainer in Britain at that time.

Initially operating from Brandsby, North Yorkshire, Rebecca relocated to the state-of-the-art Howe Hills facility in 2016. This move allowed her to expand her operations, and she has since achieved over 200 winners in her career.  Rebecca is known for her hands-on approach and dedication to her horses’ well-being, working closely with nutritionists, physiotherapists, and veterinarians to ensure optimal performance. She maintains an active presence on social media, providing regular updates and insights into her training activities.
