Cityzen Serg finishes half way at Southwell

It was a relatively early start for some of you nursing sore heads as we welcomed in 2022, but for those who did make it to Southwell, the cobwebs were certainly blown away nice and early.

Cityzen Serg ran for us in the mile MansionBet Beaten By A Head Handicap (Class 4), finishing eighth under Daniel Muscutt.

Serg took quite a keen hold before being settled in the middle of the pack and was actually last off the bridle before not picking up.

His home work has been really good down at Mike Murphy’s and you would have to hope things are going to come together for him sooner than later on the track off what is now looking a very lenient handicap mark.
