Ashington does it again with fab win at Kelso!

A true Ursa Major legend has cemented his place in our history books by winning his second race in the Battenbergs.

Ashington has always been one of our leading lights, taking us to Chelteham, Charlie Hall day at Wetherby and a strong of other big dates.

But an elusive first win in the pink and yellow had been beyond him - until this summer - and he now has two wins next to his name.

The most recent came in extraordinary fashion at Kelso, where he never looked the winner until crossing the line in front - an incredible ride from Jamie Hamilton for Mark Walford.
