Curious Rover is poignant winner

Curious Rover made it winner number three in the Battenbergs - a poignant victory for his owners.

The brave sprinter has taken his owners to some huge days this year - including the Derby and Ayr Gold Cup cards, where he ran in the 3yo Dash and Silver Cup respectively - and he got his head in front for the first time as a three year old today at Redcar.

Ridden by Oisin Orr for Katie Scott, Rover led from stalls to winning line - showing all the class we know he has.

It was a particularly poignant victory coming so soon after the death of Rose Agnew, who was loved dearly by her wonderful family and fellow Ursa owners.
