Winner! Far From A Ruby bolts in by more than three lengths

Far From A Ruby has cemented her place in he Ursa Major hall of fame by romping home at Ayr tonight by more than three lengths.

The Katie Scott trained mare led from start to finish in the mile handicap under a brilliant ride from young 7lb claimer Aiden Brookes.

The win comes after a string of brilliant runs from Ruby - with three seconds, a third and a fourth in her last six runs.

Craig Talbot, Racing Manager, said: “I am literally beaming from ear to ear. This is such a deserved victory and I could not be happier for our owners and Katie.

“She so deserved that and we are chuffed to bits. She bolted up. That was a brilliant ride from AIden too, what a night for Ursa Major.”
