WINNER! Ralphy Boy Two storms to victory at Hamilton

He had shown he was in fine form last time - but Ralphy Boy Two took it to a whole new level with a victory at Hamilton.

It was a first Ursa winner for trainer Ewan Whillans and Grand National winning jockey Graham Lee and Ralphy did it in fine style - a beautiful ride and a plan executed to perfection.

He was held up before making up ground from about three furlongs out. He was then delivered with a challenge two out before asserting with a furlong to run and he won well.

Craig Talbot, Racing Manager, said: “I am just so pleased for the owners and Ewan and it was a fabulous ride by Graham.

“He had run a great race over a furlong shorter last time and we did fancy him to run well, but Graham executed the plan to perfection and he looked a good winner of this.

“He could be out again as soon as the backend of next week.”

The win was Ursa Major’s 24th in little over four years. It was our third at Hamilton.
