Joy as Fenna's Loss joins Ursa ranks
It’s another exciting day at Ursa Major headquarters after the arrival of a new recruit.
Fenna’s Loss, a five-year-old gelding, has joined Mark Walford after two bumper runs in Ireland for Charles Byrnes.
We are delighted to secure the services of Fenna’s, a son of Group 1 winner Sageburg, and he will be ready to run in two weeks time.
He has had two starts in bumpers already - a fourth at Galway and a well fancied 13/2 shot at Killarney, where he pulled his chance away.
With a change of scenery and Mark’s magic touch we are convinced we have a future winner on our hands.
His sire has produced several top class jumpers including dual Grade 2 winner Rouge Vif and Cheltenham winner Ch’tibello.
Craig Talbot, Racing Manager, said: “We are over the moon with Fenna’s and he will be ready to run in two weeks.
“He came straight off the lorry and into work and blew his rider away with the zest he went up Mark’s hill.
“Mark has a really testing uphill gallop and he ate it up. He will be ready to run in two weeks and I really do think he could win a bumper before being readied for hurdles.”
