Ghadbbaan and Ruby make for a big weekend

It’s all set to be a massive weekend for our owners with two runners - including one live on ITV4.

Far From A Ruby kicks the weekend magic off over 7f at Musselburgh (4.48) on Saturday for Katie Scott and Rowan Scott.

Ruby has come out of her reappearance really well and should take another step forwards here off a decent mark and we can’t wait to see her run with her usual enthusiasm and would have each way claims.

Then on Sunday it is back to the Sunday Series following Candescence’s win at Hamilton two weeks ago, as this time Ghadbbaan gets his shot at a big pot at York.

The gorgeous chestnut gelding has made the cut for the 2m handicap at 6.05 live on ITV4 - one of our biggest and most exciting assignments yet.

It’s a very strong field as you would expect, but Ghadbbaan placed three times at York last summer and the big, long straight plays to his strengths.

It would not be a major surprise to see him in the places.
