Ursa showcase at York Racecourse

Thousands of racegoers were given the chance to learn all about Ursa Major Racing at York Racecourse.

We were invited to be part of the shared ownership day at the best track in the country on Friday - a meeting broadcast live on ITV4.

As well as getting the chance to chat with Racing Manager Craig Talbot and our principal trainer Mark Walford, potential new owners also got to try on our silks, view pictures of our 20 winners and even take home some Ursa related freebies.

Craig even got the chance to chat to Frankie Foster, host of Raceday RTV - and a former Love Island star!

Our World Cup of Ursa winner Candescence also got to parade in front of a huge crowd - less than a week after her historic Sky Bet Sunday Series Sprint Handicap win live on ITV4.

Craig said: “It was a great chance to chat to so many racing enthusiasts at the best course in the country and I hope we left them impressed with what we had to offer.

“We also had plenty of our existing owners drop by to support us and I want to thank them for their support.

“We are the best value syndicate out there with us operating very close to cost price and I hope some are influenced by what they saw at York.”
