WINNER! Dis Donc adds his name to Ursa roll of honour!
A brilliant week has turned into a sensational one with our second winner in five days!
Dis Donc, trained by Micky Hammond and ridden expertly by Jamie Hamilton battled bravely to win the 2m3.5f selling hurdle at Wetherby.
Leading from the flagfall to finish, Jamie gave a ride packed with strength as he gave him a breather before driving him home from the back of the third last.
It was a deserved win for connections as the horse bounced back to form in style and gives Ursa Major Racing its 19th winner.
Coming in at 10/1, he looked the winner all over coming home by 3/4 of a length - huge congratulations to all owners.
Jamie said: “He was going around with his ears pricked and I had an uncontested lead so I did my own fractions and kicked off the bend.
“He battled away brilliant.”
