Kath's Toyboy makes fine Ursa debut in fourth

Kath’s Toyboy made a fine start to life in Ursa colours when finishing a fine fourth at Lingfield - and only a freak incident cost him finishing closer.

The four-year-old gelding hit the front a furlong before home but was cut across by the winner and appeared to strike the rail before running on again to secure fourth spot.

It was a really pleasing first start for Mike Murphy and we think he will be a winner this year.

Jockey Daniel Muscutt suggested taking the headgear off next time - and we can’t wait to see him out again soon.
