Delight as two new runners added to Ursa ranks
We are delighted to announce two new horses ready to run in the Battenberg silks.
Kath’s Toyboy and Far From A Ruby have both been snapped up by Racing Manager Craig Talbot at today’s Tattersalls sale at Newmarket.
Kath’s Toyboy, a four year old grey gelding has gone into training with Mike Murphy.
The winner of one race and five placed efforts is a consistent runner who is lurking on a very handy handicap mark.
Far From a Ruby, a five-year-old bay mare has joined Katie Scott up in Scotland.
She has won two races and been places in a further six on the all weather and will give owners north of the border plenty to shout about.
Craig said: “We came down and wanted to get horses for both Katie and Mike and we were delighted to pick up these two fine, regular runners who know how to get their noses in front.
“It should ensure our owners both in Scotland and down south have regular action and can enjoy cheering on their horses.
“We are thrilled to welcome both Kath and Ruby to our ranks and can’t wait to see them make the track.”
