Our former heroes: The Mackem Torpedo

We love to catch up with what our former horses are doing in their post-racing career.

And today we received these lovely pictures of The Mackem Torpedo enjoying his new life on the Isle of Wight!

He has proven to be quite the traveller in his retirement - having been based at Katie Scott’s place in Scotland in his racing career with us.

Mack ran 10 times in our colours between June 2021 and last month, before we decided to retire him after bursting a blood vessel.

We wish him all the best in his gorgeous new surroundings. Horse welfare is always number one with Ursa Major.
