Ursa stable tour: Spring targets revealed
It’s been a slightly quieter couple of weeks than usual, but the next month is about to get very busy.
With our horses building back from their winter break now seemed the perfect time to update everyone with how they are doing and when you will next see them on track.
We have some ownership options still available - give us a shout to get involved!
After a couple of poor runs by his usual standards we are looking to get back on track on the 28th at Carlisle back over fences. Hopefully we can put a line through his last race.
Our four time winning legend is back in training at Mark’s after a later break than most. We are happy with him and he will be back on track in April. I don’t think there would be a dry eye in the house if he could add to his tally this year.
She has come back from her break very well and should be ready to go at Doncaster. We still think the world of her and is on a winnable mark.
He was pulled up last week on heavy ground, but only four finished the race and that blow will put him spot on. We expect him to be very competitive now for the rest of the season.
He is going very well at home but he is still very green and he will make his racecourse debut in March. He will go to Southwell for a racecourse gallop this Friday with Battle Angel which will do them both the world of good. I love him and Diamond Boy is siring some beautiful horses.
She has really grown and strengthened up this year and she looks great. She should be ready in April.
We are winning the race against the clock to get her ready and qualified for the Northern Lights final and she will run on the 5th at Kelso. She will join Diamante Sur Canape in a racecourse gallop at Southwell this coming Friday. It should bring her on plenty.
He just had a spin around yesterday on ground he doesn’t like and now he is very well handicapped for Hexham on the 17th March. If it’s good ground he will go very close - he has won there four times.
She is back in full training now and she has really grown since Christmas. We are hoping she will make her debut in May.
Another horse who has transformed physically and he will be ready in May.
She is a very nice mover. Hopefully she will be ready for May/June.
He has come out of his break very well and will run at Doncaster on the first day of the flat season. We are very happy with him.
She is really pleasing everyone and we think she is well handicapped for both codes. She will be ready to run in March - the aim is to have her ready for 21st March at Southwell.
She is really pleasing everyone. She’s pretty fit already and should be ready to run in about four weeks.
She ran far better than the result on her first start for us at Newcastle. She was a bit of a monkey on her way to the start and then didn’t break as well as she could. For all that she ran with loads of promise and two furlongs out it looked like she was going to place. She is home and well now and we can’t wait to get her out again.
He will make his debut on the 2nd March at Lingfield or Kempton.
Was fairly sore after his run last week. He will go over hurdles next.
