EVENT OF SIVOLA WINS - No Horse deserves to win more than EOS!
EOS secured his place into the Winners enclosure for the 1st time in his UK career in the 3:55 rbet365 Handicap Chase (Northern Lights Staying Chase Series Qualifier) at Musselburgh on 7th February 2021 beating Big Difference by 3 and 3/4’s of a length.
EOS has been banging on the door to secure his first win for over a year having secured 5 placed finishes in his previous 11 attempts for the club. His recent fall at Ayr was merely a small blip as most club members knew he was sure to secure a win sooner rather than later. The hardest part in recent weeks was actually getting him into a race with no less than 6 abandonment’s to contend with before the Musselburgh Race. Jamie Hamilton took the reins on EOS for the first time after having ridden him out at home for the last few weeks in the run up to the race. Even though EOS is better over left handed tracks, Jamie did a fine job steering him to victory and EOS looked like he could have completed another circuit with how he finished the race off.
Event Of Sivola picked up £5,588.28 in prize money for his win in the Class 4 race. He has now qualified for The Northern Lights Staying Chase Series Final Handicap Chase which takes place at Carlisle Racecourse on 28th March 2021 and carries a prize fund of £35,000.
