Introducing Para Queen
We are delighted to announce a new horse that has been added to the Ursa Major Racing Club team!
PARA QUEEN was purchased by Mark Walford/URSA Major Racing yesterday (22/10/2020) at the GOFFS UK Autumn Sales for £4,000 (Lot 11) from Heather Main Racing.
Para Queen was on the shortlist of horses we wanted to buy, and we are delighted we got her for a great price! She is 4 years old and recently placed 3rd in the Sky Sports Amateur Jockeys’ H., Windsor (19/10/20), her most recent start.
The horse was primarily bought as a replacement for the retired Illustrissime, however 2.5% shares are available for a ridiculously cheap £140 upfront fee and £38.50 monthly training fees.
The club has received wonderful feedback from her previous owners Don Knott and Heather Main Racing. She is in a sound condition and has settled into the Mark Walford Yard well. She will relish soft ground and will be schooled over obstacles to be a future NH horse. We are hopeful she can have an entry either over hurdles or on the all weather within 2 weeks.
