New Sponsors For URSA Major Racing
We are delighted to announce a new year long Sponsorship of Ursa Major Racing Club courtesy of Elite Electrical & Fire LTD
Starting from 1st March 2021 Sponsorship comprises of 6 horses:

We will see our sponsors logo on all of our racing silks for the above 6 horses. Our clothing range which can be accessed here also will have our sponsors logo attached as well!
This is another fantastic step forward for the club and we were delighted to catch up with the senior management of Elite Electrical & Fire Ltd Lewis Mcdonnell & Garrett Donohue:
Q: Ursa Major is delighted to have Elite Electrical & Fire as its sponsor for 2021! Can you please tell us about your company and what services you offer?
A: Elite Electrical And Fire was formed in 2015 by Garrett & myself (Lewis). We both had our own sole trader company’s & decided to start up new joint company, the birth of EEF LTD!
The services we offer is from just changing over a light in your front room to a full electrical refurbishment in a Waitrose store. So, everything you can think of within the electrical industry.
Q: The electrical world is a far cry from Horse Racing, we note you already sponsor other sports teams but what is the connection between your company and our glorious sport?
A: Yes, like you mentioned we already sponsor a local football team Meads FC and for us it started as mainly trying to give a bit back to our local community. The electrical world is a fry cry from the sporting world, but you will find most electricians enjoy their sport in many ways and of course they enjoy their horses as well! We have always entertained clients & our hardworking teams to days out at the races in the past and Horse Racing is a passion of ours at EEF LTD.
Q: Lewis and Garrett you have been involved in horse ownership before, but what drew you to URSA Major Racing? So much so that you wanted to sponsor the club?
A: (Lewis) I was involved in a horse a few years ago and had my fingers burnt, but when I made contact with URSA I knew this was the right club for me straight away, over the last few months I can see the potential in this great club to grow & we are very lucky and pleased to have our logo on the Famous Battenberg silks!!
Q: What URSA horse are you most excited about and looking forward to watching in the 2021 season?
A: It’s so hard to choose from a fantastic list of current horses URSA own but I’m very excited to see Elland Roy Boy!!
Q: As a sponsor what would be your ultimate dream for URSA Major Racing or where would you like to see your sponsored silks appear?
A: There’s so many great races & courses in the UK but it would have to be at Ascot....or Royal Ascot if we dare to dream.
