Ruler of the River battles to victory at Kelso

It was a Sunday to remember for Ursa Major owners as Ruler of the River romped to victory at Kelso.

The four year old filly put the maiden juvenile hurdle to bed by three lengths for the crack team of Sam and Jonny England.

Placed on her first three hurdles for Team England, she was highly tested on Battenberg debut in a listed race at Doncaster.

She was far from disgraced there and would’ve been a lot closer but for hitting on of the last hurdles.

And she showed she is a filly on the up with a battling win here, finishing well clear at the end.

It’s a third different horse to to win for us with Team England since we teamed up with them, proving an excellent addition to our ranks.
