WINNER: Curious Rover scores in some style on Ursa debut

Curious Rover made it a week of perfect Ursa debuts by storming home at Catterick.

The Katie Scott trained two year old colt burst from the gates and didn’t let another rival trouble him as he came home almost two lengths clear of second under Sam James.

After finishing third and second on his first two starts for Katie, we were delighted to buy the son of The Irish Rover to stay in the yard - further cementing our presence with one of the country’s finest up and coming young trainers.

And Curious Rover more than lived up to our expectations by winning with ease at odds of 8/11.

Jockey Sam James said: “He did everything right. He was in front so long I just kept him up to his work but he has won as easy as you like.

“He’s a strong little horse and he will get quicker and better.”
