WINNER! Carrarea gets it done again as hot spell extends into June

A heatwave has engulfed Ursa Major Racing - with the form of our horses absolutely scorchio!

Carrarea made it two wins in two days - and five in the last 21 days by easing home at Market Rasen tonight at odds of 30/100.

It was easy enough for Jamie Hamilton’s charge, who played it cool until taking full command three from home and scoring by five lengths.

The sky seems to be the limit now for Mark Walford’s six year old with plans already being discussed for his next race.

Jamie said: “He jumped very slick and accurate. Having something to aim at helped. Out the back he picked the bit back up in his mouth and I was able to get a breather into him.

“We then got around the bend and when I asked him, he picked up again. If something had come to him he would have gone again. That was great.”
