Welcoming our new Sands of Mali filly!

We welcome out first yearling of 2023 to Team Battenberg in the shape of this stunning daughter of Group One winning sprinter, Sands of Mali.

She also marks our first involvement in the yard of Group One winning trainer Michael Dods - we could not be happier to join this superb team, one of the very best in the north.

Sands of Mali won five races in his career, including the Group One British Champion Sprint, the Group 2 Sandy Lane and excitingly, the Group 2 Gimcrack Stakes as a juvenile.

French Heroine was placed three times at three and has already produced a colt by Mukhadram.
