Trio of runners make for a manic Monday

Our week begins in rapid fashion, with three runners on Monday afternoon.

Battle Angel (Mark Walford/Eireann Cagney) get things under way in the 1.50 at Catterick.

She has made a pleasing return from a long lay off and gave plenty of hints last time that she was hitting top form. She should go well.

Then our last time out winner Far From A Ruby (Katie Scott/Aiden Brookes) makes a bid to back that up in the 3.20 at the same venue.

She’s arguably the form horse in the race and has won off a higher mark in the past, but this is quite a warm race. She should be in the shake up.

Finally, Champagne Sarah (Mike Murphy and Michael Keady/Daniel Muscutt) makes her debut in the 5.50 at Windsor.

She has worked very nicely and should be a good filly going forward but this is first day at school.

Craig Talbot, Racing Manager, said: “It is amazing to have three runners in one day and we go into it with some live chances.

“Thanks to our owners and trainers and fingers crossed we get a winner.”
