Major spring targets for new signing The Turpinator!

We have added a dash of real quality to the Ursa Major ranks, with exciting handicapper The Turpinator becoming our latest addition.

The Turpinator is a true Saturday horse, with a rating of 88 and a Class 3 Goodwood handicap to his name already.

We have purchased the five-year-old gelding as a fun weekend horse for his owners and he is in training with Grant Tuer.

He will have a run on the all weather before being primed for a tilt at either the Lincoln or Spring Mile at the start of the 2023 flat turf campaign, where we expect him to be a wonderfully fun horse.

A winner of three of his 13 starts so far, he came sixth in the Spring Cup last year, beaten only two and three quarters of a length.

He doesn’t have much mileage on the clock and will take owners to all the big tracks.

Craig Talbot, Racing Manager, said: “It is absolutely thrilling to get involved with The Turpinator as he ran some great races last year - including a fine sixth at Newbury in the Spring Cup, a Class 2.

“He then won a Class 3 in really good fashion at Goodwood and he will give all his owners a big thrill throughout the summer that’s for sure.

“But you won’t have to wait long to see him out - he will run next Friday at Newcastle.”

You can get involved with The Turpinator for £450 upfront and £50pcm from January 31 for 2.5 per cent
