Stephen Hanlon Joins the Ursa Training Team!

We are delighted to announce that Stephen Hanlon has joined the Ursa Major Racing Training Ranks!

Stephen Hanlon and NewGen Racing have bought a 50% stake in MIZEN MASTER after Mizen’s recent placed efforts in Selling Handicaps in Jan 2021. 

Mizen Master will join Stephen Hanlon at his Butterton Grange Stables, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire. Mizen Master will continue to run in the world famous Battenberg Silks and Ursa Major Racing have retained a 50% stake in the horse.

Stephen Hanlon is a young, up and coming trainer who recently relocated from The Curragh in Ireland to the UK, he has already go great experience improving horses that have come under his wing. More can be read about Stephen and his career On Our Trainers Section.
