Event lands his sixth Ursa win with front running masterclass

Event of Sivola further enhanced his legendary status by landing his sixth win for Ursa Major with a breathtaking frontrunning display at Perth.

Sent on by Tom Midgley, the 10-year-old made all with a foot-perfect round of fencing which will live long in the memory.

It was a third win this season for the Mark Walford-trained chestnut who extended his lead at the top of our Hall of Fame.

Racing Manager Craig Talbot said: “What more can you say about this absolute legend. He gave Tom a hell of a ride with a display of jumping you rarely see anywhere.

“He was absolutely amazing today. This morning Mark sent owners a video of him stretching his legs out on the track and he was absolutely full of himself and so it proved on the track too.

“Huge credit to Mark for getting six wins from him including three in the season he turned 10!”
